Petaluma is home to a dynamic arts and music scene, centered around the iconic Phoenix Theater. This venue isn't just known for its legendary punk and rock shows—it also serves as a nonprofit community center. The Phoenix provides a welcoming space for local youth and teens to learn valuable skills, from sound engineering and lighting to event planning and promotion. This is the place that trained me and sent me on my journey as an audio engineer all those years ago.
